Tom shoots for Gold May 2009

Tom Illingworth a Malton Laser's apprentice is shooting for an place in the 2012 Olympics

Tom sport of clay pigion shooting is an Olympic sport. Over 50 of Englands top junior competitors are competing for the chance to represent the country.

There are 2 qualifing rounds. The first has been held and Tom is now in 4th place with one round to go. The top 5 will shoot for England in the Olympic Games 2012.

Tom recently announced he was also competing in a shoot competion for a valuable gun prize. we're told its worth £40000.

We all wish Tom good luck. It will definitely be my very best reason to go see the Olmpic Games. George
